Ronald E. Hagan is President and Chief Executive Officer of Roland|Criss Fiduciary Services. In this capacity, Mr. Hagan is either directly involved on client engagements or involved on a supervisory level regarding every client of the firm. He is active across a wide range of subjects including developing investment policy topics, screening investment managers, and working closely with boards of trustees on matters of special concern.
Mr. Hagan possesses broad expertise in the analysis of investment activity among retirement plans. Prior to forming Roland, Criss & Co., Ltd. in 1986, Mr. Hagan was a Principal with Booz, Allen and Hamilton in its fiduciary advisory division. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President and member of the Asset Liability Committee of First Commerce Corporation, a commercial bank holding company. Mr. Hagan developed many of the procedures contained in Roland|Criss’ Investment Fiduciary Standards of Care program. He is a featured speaker at conferences on retirement plan fiduciary issues. Examples of groups before whom he has appeared, or is currently scheduled to appear, include the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, Independent Bankers Association, The Center for Due Diligence, and ASPPA regional conferences.
Mr. Hagan majored in accounting at Erie Business College. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary AnalystTM which certifies him to supervise investment fiduciary audits and reviews.
